Marketing Managers’ Index

You may have heard of the Purchasing Managers’ Index. The Marketing Managers’ Index is the equivalent, exclusively for marketing managers in technology companies.

“But Why?” I hear you cry (or more accurately, I hear myself cry).

Background

The Purchasing Managers’ Index promotes views of the world’s paper-clip-buyers. The press often picks up on the PMI numbers eg the BBC report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52542943.

But honestly, I don’t care about purchasing managers. Sorry.

But I *do* care about marketing, which tends to be more forward-looking (and more interesting!). So the Marketing Managers’ Index was born.

Foreground

The Marketing Managers’ Index is based on a four-question survey of execs in the enterprise technology sector. The aim is to build a picture of confidence and future prospects.

The questionnaire link changes each month. Mail surveys@strand-uk to find out more.
